A SECOND piece of potentially life-saving equipment has been installed in the village of St Day thanks to two local Lions clubs.

St Day Parish Council and the Lions Clubs of Camborne/Redruth and Truro came together for an official handover of a 24 hour Public Access Defibrillator at the St Day Inn recently.

The piece of equipment was facilitated through the Lions’ Heart Defibrillator Appeal Fund which was launched in August 2013 and has delivered 20 defibrillators in the area.

There were also donations from St Day Enterprise Centre, Enterprise Indoor Bowls Club, Cornwall Councillor Community Chest Fund, St Day Line Dancers, St Day Inn, WJ Mills Grant Fund, plus an anonymous donation.
